What's On @ the Library

Tuesdays:

Charlotte's Web purple yarn and knitting needles graphic2:30-3:30pm -- Bring a project along for social crafting and helpful tips. 
STEM Club Chemistry beakers 4-5pm -- Curious kids of all ages will have fun with science, technology, engineering, and math. 


Wednesdays:
Crafternoon origami crane4-5pm -- Work on an art or craft project and listen to the next chapter in a great book. (grades 5-9) 
Crafternoon Jr plasticine snail4-5pm -- Try a new craft project and listen to the next chapter in a read aloud novel. (K-grade 4) 


Fridays:

Alphasaurus Preschool Storytime green cartoon sauropod dinosaur10-11am -- 3-5 year old children and their grown ups will listen to stories, play games, sing songs, and do crafts with Lachie
Friday Afternoon Movies film reel 1:30pm -- Join us for a sensory-friendly screening of a family movie every Friday afternoon!
Fridays in the Youth Space A circle of colourful sneakers, toes pointed inward 4-5pm -- Youth 12+ will choose furniture, decorations, and books and help plan events for the new youth space at the Library. Snacks provided.



Saturdays:
Bricks & Books Green plastic brick1-5pm -- Builders of all ages are invited to create a masterpiece with our LEGO® and duplo® collection!

 

 

Everyday:
Try the Maker Kits, work on the current jigsaw puzzle or colouring project, and browse our collection of books, audiobooks, graphic novels, and movies! Be sure to check out our book sale while you're here!
