Job Opportunity
The Drumheller Public Library is seeking a creative, team-oriented person for the position of Library Assistant - Children's Services. In addition to completing the day to day operations of a library assistant, the children's services assistant will design, implement and coordinate child and family oriented programs both in the library and occasionally through outreach services as well as serve as a representative on relevant community organisations. A postgraduate certificate in early childhood development is an asset but is not required.

Library volunteers may contribute in a variety of ways, from shelving books and tending plants to helping with program preparations and teaching classes. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old, and submit a complete volunteer application form, available for download below or in person at the Library.
