Computers

The Library has:

  • 4 adult computers
  • an assistive technology station (ATS) computer with height adjustable desk and large print keyboard
  • a computer set up specifically with the Microfilm Reader
  • 4 youth computers in the youth section

Anyone is welcome to use our computers -- no charge, and no library card required, just give your name at the front desk.

We also have a wall-mounted computer in the book stacks that provides quick access to the library catalogue to help you find something specific.

The Library offers free WiFi access and various wall outlets for personal laptops and devices. Limited wireless printing is now available; please ask staff for assistance. We are glad to help you find a way to print what you need.

All public computers are equipped with internet access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and a variety of internet browsers. Please bring a memory stick if you need to save your work.

Computer help is available any time our staff have a free moment -- don't be shy!

If you need more in depth help, try making a Tech Tutoring appointment with one of our knowledgeable staff.
