Western GM Drumheller Gallery & Art in the Library

Western GM Gallery

Did you know that there's an art gallery right in the Badlands Community Facility? The Western GM Drumheller Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the work of Alberta artists. The shows in the art gallery change every month and offer you a chance to see the amazing creativity of artists in a variety of mediums. Gallery shows are managed by the Library.

Art in the Library

The Library also hosts the work of a local artist in the library each month, from youth sharing their art publically for the first time to hobbyists displaying decades of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other creative projects.

If you'd like to book a show in either the Gallery or the Library, please contact Janet at 403-823-1372, by email, or through our website.

Art Classes

Each month, from October to June, volunteer artists teach classes at the Library. The classes are free to participants, but registration fills up fast. See what's coming up and get your name on the list.
